Recent Claremont Club Review: "This is a beautiful old hotel and the spa is top-rate. The tennis courts are lovely and the workout areas are fabulous! I have three comments though on situations that occurred during my 7 night stay. They were reroofing the entire hotel roof. This is especially annoying while paying good money for a "relaxing" massage. The spa manager reiumbursed me  1/2 the charge because of it and the concerige sent me a plate of chocholate covered strawberries - handled perfectly but I never booked a spa treatment until after 5 pm when the workers left for the day. Second, I booked a room in the "spa" wing thinking that this would be a quieter area, however there was a parking lot right outside my windows. Motorcycles, cars and of course, delivery trucks(even the roofing workers) parked, idled their engines and turned around right outside my 4 windows since I had a corner room. Lastly, the name of the hotel is "resort and spa" and has boasts three pools" However, they don't tell you that they have kiddie camp there doing the day and one of the pools is a kiddie pool. Again, not too relaxing for a single person looking for a quiet, relaxing and pampering experience. But If you ask me if I would stay there again, the answer is YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
